Wo wir gerade beim "wert sein" sind: Die MSI Vanguard ist es jedenfalls nicht. Spulenfiepengeräusch wie ein Dremel und brummige Schrott-Lüfter. Ist echt bergab gegangen mit der Firma, da kann man auch den billigsten Schlonz kaufen.

Gerne, je mehr Feedback umso besser. Und bitte genaue Angaben zur Karte nicht vergessen. Non XT, XT etc.

ASUS GPU-Tweak III in der Version 1.9.4.3 überwacht die Pins übrigens nicht nur, sondern warnt jetzt auch, ich meine ab 9.2A. Die Sensoren sind auch in HWinfo und sonstigen Tools abgreifbar. Mit individuellen Warnwerten, logging etc. PP. Sehr praktisch, zumal die Werte bei der Astral auch noch nach Modding der Haupt-Shunts korrekt sind.

@grobi: Achte mal auf die Drehzahlen. Bei mir haben sich die minimum rpm noch mal um 100 gesenkt. Asus hat aber auch viel rumgetüftelt um das mit dem problematischen vierten Lüfter der Astral in den Griff zu kriegen.

Ich gehe jetzt aber dieser Sache mal nach, gibt auch wieder einiges im Internet zu lesen...

I was looking for a backup card, but I wouldn't be buying a 3070 even for a backup. I already bought Gigabyte Gaming OC 6700 XT with bad paste (2200 rpm at 180W) and bad fan bearings, one ASUS Strix 2080 with VRAM artifacts, one ASUS Strix 2080 Ti with VRAM artifacts and flickering black screen (all three certainly mined) and one EVGA 2080 Ti with bad paste (80°C+ and 2500 rpm+ at 260W and 73°C and 2000 rpm at 180W) and bad fan bearings, sold each one.
I will simply not ever sell 5070 Ti and it will be a backup card sometime.
You simply cannot get a very good card under €800 anymore. Maybe 7800 XT, but above €500 it is also too much.

9060 XT 128-bit 16GB as fast as 7700 XT seems OK at your expected €350-400.
But price just can't and won't be this low. MLID says $399, maybe $349. That is in Euro €450-500 which is yet again terrible value, you can already get a 20% faster 7800 XT for €500. And I agree with MLID even if I compare to what 9070 costs - $550 or €700. There just can't be such a huge gap between €400 and €700.
So far best value are 9070 for €700 and 5070 Ti for €1000, everything else is a much overpriced, too low on VRAM, a big compromise and anything but future proof.

I myself are even waiting to finally get a 24 GB card as I just don't want to tinker with settings to get some game to run on something lower than max settings. We can get regular RAM 48GB for as low as €150 and we don't even need more than 24GB for gaming. So why can't we get the same overkill with GPUs. We already had 3 24 GB cards, 3090/3090 Ti, 4090 and 7900 XTX. But none will be very good in 2 years. So first good 24 GB card should be UDNA or 6080 (unfortunately at least €1700).

MSI und Gigabyte fasse ich bei Laptops nicht mehr mit der Kneifzange an, seit ich einmal ein Gigabyte Aorus mit 13900HX/4070 hatte (MSI und Gigabyte nehmen sich meinem "Markenbild" nach nichts). Katastrophale Notebooksoftware. Ich kaufe nur noch Asus und XMG, bei Asus kann man G-Helper statt der Bloatware Armory Crate nutzen und die Software von XMG ist top. Habe ein ASUS Zephyrus G14 (2023, 7940HS/4090) und ein XMG Core 16 (7840HS/4060) und bin mit beiden zufrieden. Die sind auch von der Wertanmutung und der Gehäusequalität auf einem anderen Level als das Gigabyte.

Aufgrund der im Thread geschilderten Kritik an der 4060 habe ich, nach dem ich das Gigashyte zurückgefernabsatzt habe, kein Notebook mit 4070 sondern eins mit einer 4060 genommen (das genannte Core 16). Die 4060 ist recht nah dran an der 4070 und das Core 16 hat Flüssigmetal-WLP, so dass die Karte in 3DMark-Tests eigentlich immer sehr weit rechts liegt und recht nah an der 4070 aus dem Gigabyte dran ist.

Neues Netzteil hat nichts geändert alle Games laufen ohne FG der neuen Generation.
Ich zocke Avowed was vom Entwickler noch kein Update bekommen hab mit DLSS3 FG ohne Probleme.
